CHRONIC HEADACHE

Chronic headache - including migraine, tension, cluster headache - can significantly decrease a patient's quality of life. At James-Marco Health, your provider will do an extensive history to pinpoint the source of your headaches and develop a comprehensive treatment plan for achieving freedom from headache pain.

Treatment therapies range from non-invasive therapies, like oral medications, integrative body work and deep relaxation, to more invasive therapies, like trigger point and Botox injections, peripheral nerve stimulation and cervical decompressive surgery.

NECK PAIN

Neck and radicular arm pain can be debilitating. The James-Marco Health team will thoroughly assess your symptoms and imaging findings to target the source of your pain and effectively treat it.

Common cervical, or neck, therapies include heat therapy, yoga therapy, integrative body work, and physical therapy. If pain persists despite these conservative therapies, more invasive therapies such as trigger point injections, spinal cord stimulation, targeted intrathecal drug delivery and surgical decompression surgery may be recommended.

NERVE PAIN

Nerve pain, or neuropathy, can interrupt sleep, decrease job performance and significantly decrease the quality of one's life. Nerve pain often originates in the peripheral nerves of the limbs or the junction at which those nerves exit the spinal canal. At James-Marco Health, we will conduct a thorough assessment to pinpoint the source of your nerve pain. Often times, an electromyography, or "EMG nerve conduction", study will be ordered. Therapies for treatment of nerve pain include vitamin supplementation, physical therapy, peripheral nerve stimulation, targeted intrathecal drug delivery and surgical decompression of peripheral nerves.

NEUROMUSCULAR PAIN

Neuromuscular pain typically originates in the muscle fibers of the body. The neuromuscular junction, where peripheral nerves meet muscle fibers, can be safely modulated to effectively treat muscle pain.

Treatments for neuromuscular pain include diet supplementation, heat therapy, integrative body work, yoga therapy, trigger point injections, muscle fiber stimulation and targeted intrathecal drug delivery. One, or several, of these therapies may be recommended in your individualized treatment plan.
